Users can share content on the conference room's display without creating a Teams meeting. Users can connect the USB-C cable and HDMI adapter from Yealink Teams Rooms to the presenting computer to share content. This method will share the entire computer screen onto a conference room display only. Users will not be able to specify a screen to share.
Step 1: Display Setup
Prepare this step prior to the meeting start time. If this is the user's first time using Yealink Teams Rooms, the user should allow a preparation buffer of up to 10 minutes to become familiar with the technology. Otherwise, the process itself should take less than 1 minute.
Display Power
Power on the display of the conference room. In most office settings, a TV is commonly used as the conference room's display.
Display Source
As needed, confirm the correct display source using the display's remote. Yealink Teams Rooms is typically connected to either HDMI 1 or Source 1 of the display.
Step 2: Tap More on Touch Panel Controller
Tap More menu with ellipsis icon (...) on the touch panel controller.
Step 3: Tap Present on Touch Panel Controller
Step 4: Connect USB-C Cable to Computer
Insert Yealink Teams Rooms' USB-C cable to the attached HDMI adapter. Then insert the HDMI adapter to the HDMI port of the presenting computer. Users can use either USB-C cable or HDMI adapter, depending on the presenting computer's port availability. Please note that the cable will not charge the computer.
Stop Screen Share
To stop the screen share, tap on Stop Presenting on the touch panel controller.
