Yealink Teams Rooms is a conference system specifically designed for Microsoft Teams meetings. Yealink Teams Rooms includes a touch panel controller that is used to control Teams meeting and Yealink devices. This article contains features found in Yealink's Teams Rooms touch panel controller during active meetings.



1. Cortana

Cortana is Microsoft's voice assistant feature that allows users to have touchless Teams meeting experience. Cortana can assist users to join and end a meeting, add a user, or call a number from the conference room. 

  • Tap Cortana icon on the bottom left corner.
  • Say a Command 
    • Example: "Add John Doe"
  • Cancel a Command
    • Example: "Cancel" or "Nevermind"


2. Call Timer

Call timer displays the time length of the call. 


3. Additional Settings

The ellipses icon will open additional settings options for Teams Rooms.


4. Speaker Volume

5. Camera

Tap the camera icon to turn on and off the conference room cameras. Reference Microsoft Teams Rooms: Yealink Camera Overview article.


6. Microphone Mute

Tap the microphone icon to mute and unmute microphones in the conference room. Reference Microsoft Teams Rooms: Yealink Microphone Mute article.


7. Screen Share

Tap on the screen share icon to share content on conference room display. Reference Screen Share via Teams Room Systems article.


8. End Call

Tap on the phone icon to end the conference call. 


9. Mute Attendees

Tap the microphone icon to mute and unmute Teams meeting attendees. Reference Microsoft Teams Rooms: Yealink Microphone Mute article.



10. New Attendees Search Bar

New users can be added to Teams meeting by entering the user's email address or phone number on the search bar.


Recording a Conference Call

The recording feature is unavailable on Teams Rooms system. Conference calls can be recorded on Teams application via computer or mobile device only. Users can create a Teams meeting to invite the desired conference room, then join the conference call on both the computer and Yealink Teams Rooms system.
